Simon is chairman of the Brian Perry Charitable Trust. He joined the Perry Group in 1989 as marketing manager and after three years managing Perry Developments was appointed chief executive of the Perry Group.
In late 2007, Simon took over the role as Chairman of the Perry Group, overseeing the vast and varied Group operations.
Simon enjoys all sports including golf, tennis, squash and skiing, and is married to Marlene and together they have four children.
A trained secondary school teacher with eight years’ teaching experience, Marlene retired from teaching when she and her husband began their family. Raising four children and engaging in voluntary work has been her focus since then.
Marlene’s experience includes 11 years as a school board of trustees’ member, two years as a trustee of a social support agency, 15 years as a Perry Foundation Trustee, and seven years as the chair of POET.
Tiffiney is an enthusiastic participant in disabled sport and represented New Zealand in wheelchair tennis at the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens. She also represented the NZ hand cycling team in 2010 and still cycles competitively internationally.
Heavily involved in tennis, basketball, cycling and snow skiing, Tiffiney is past president and a current committee member of Parafed Waikato as well as secretary for New Zealand Wheelchair Tennis.
Georgia is our youngest trustee and the eldest daughter of Marlene and Simon. A former Horotiu Primary and St Peter’s School student, Georgia was a member of the New Zealand Elite Rowing Team from 2013-2018. She is now working part-time for the BPCT, while finishing her BRBM degree through Massey University and enjoying getting into a bit of cycling with the local Cambridge Hitters.
After six years as national grants manager for the Perry Foundation, Jennifer became the general manager of the Brian Perry Charitable Trust in 2010.
Jennifer is a trustee of the Adastra Foundation and the Home of Cycling Charitable Trust. Originally from Canada, Jennifer is married and has twin girls.
Craig has been with Perry’s for over 10 years in a number of roles including general manager of 360 Management Limited and was subsquently appointed as CFO for the group.
Craig is responsible for the Brian Perry Charitable Trust’s treasury services and account management support.
Karen provides managerial support to the Perry Outdoor Education Trust (POET). She has been involved with POET since its inception in 2003, first as the trust’s administrator and through the subsequent years she has supported all aspects of the POET programme.
Karen has a Graduate Diploma in Not for Profit Management.
Carla has been the administrator of the Brian Perry Charitable Trust since 2012 and provides support to a number of the trust’s projects.
Originally from the UK, Carla has lived in Hamilton since 2009.
